Asking a Girl Out Part 2: Is She Interested?

• You've had your eye on this girl. 
• You think she's cute. 
• You've even talked to her once or twice or maybe a hundred times. 
• Now you are ready to ask her out to coffee...first off, well done.
• You are willing to step up to the plate.
• That's a big deal in the world of Christian Dating.
• A painful truth is that most Christian girls have been asked out by more non-Christians than Christians.
• Why?
• I wish I knew

• But it begs the question, what's the risk factor of her saying no?

Well here's a general quiz to see if she's interested or not...

(Understanding Women)

• When you approach her does she disappear from site every time? Y=(-1) N=1
• Does she pat you repeatedly on the back every time you hug Y= (-1) N=1 
• The bro hug,  
• Though, I've slipped and given it to a guy I've liked before... 
• If it's every single hug, it's not a good sign. 
• Ladies, for those who read everything (like I do), it could be bad if he's giving you the hug with a pat as well.
• Does she say things like “you're such a good friend” and “I'm so glad you're my friend” Y=(-3) N=0
• If so, not good, 
• even if she's making you dinner 
• even if she's sitting close to you on the couch 
• those words makes her interaction with you okay in her poor little head
• Why? Because she believes she's communicating well with you
• though her actions, in your head, may be screaming something different
• Does she touch you? Y=1 N=0
• I don't mean inappropriately but I mean brush your arm, sit shoulder to shoulder, 
• but also clock if she touches other men this same way. 
• Some women talk to men while touching their arm, no matter the man. 
• Also, sometimes Christian girls choose not to touch guys, even if they like them, before being in a relationship 
• It might be okay if the answer is no on this.
• Does she care what she looks like in your presence? Y=1 N=-1
• Is she happy for you to see her in her sweats? 
• If you are heavy on her mind, she'll probably error a bit more on the self conscious side of things
• Does she text or call you back in a timely manner? Y=1 N=-2
• Don't know, because you've never tried? 
• Try it
• Does she remember details about you? Y=1 N=0
• You're favorite cookie or that you love That Band? 
• Side note: now I want to start a band called “That Band”
• Maybe you haven't talked enough for these things to even be in her general knowledge, if that's the case don't worry about this one.
• Does she go quiet in your presence or super talkative Y=1 N=1
• Either way can be a sign of interest
• If she talks normally maybe she's really comfortable around you, 
• which is a great place to start a relationship

• This is not a complete list of all tells and signs, 
• there are always exceptions 
• but it should give you a rough idea

6+ I'm pretty sure she's into you, call her!

3-5 Your chances are 60/40 call her

0-2 It doesn't look good, maybe time to move on
